For 75 years, the global JUMO Group is designing and manufacturing measurement, control, monitoring, and automation systems for industrial processes. Our subsidiary in Belguim JUMO Automation is looking for a new employee to strengthen its Sales Department.

Your Responsibilities

As an external technical sales representative, you will be under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager. Your main task is to monitor and develop the Brabant, Brussels, Hainaut area. Your main objectives are to increase the profitability and sales of the company and to strengthen its presence in the industry in general.

• Contacting and visiting existing and new customers and prospects (prospecting, site visits, phone contacts, MS Teams, and trade fairs);
• Contact with potential customers following trade fairs and other marketing events;
• Provide our customers with the correct technical information, in collaboration with the internal Services and Engineering department;
• Follow up on technical projects from initial sales contact to completion;
• Reporting in writing and/or verbally to the Sales Manager.

• Job Requirements.

  • Technical knowledge: A2 level in electromechanics or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Fluent Dutch and English required (French and German are an advantage)
  • Knowledge of measurement instrumentation, control, and process automation desired.

  • Commercial disposition with a strong technical disposition or Technical disposition with a strong commercial disposition;
  • Proactivity, initiative and dynamism, rigor and organization;
  • Autonomous and able to work with one or more teams.
