Material compliance
RoHS
Since 1999 we have committed ourselves to environmental protection through the certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 - here we are also engaged beyond the legal necessities. This includes, in particular, the extensive avoidance of hazardous substances and the conservation of finite resources in our production. Upon request, we will gladly confirm that certain devices comply with the RoHS directives and, if applicable, the EU declaration of conformity.
REACH
REACH, a new Europe-wide chemicals law, was introduced on June 1, 2007, making manufacturers and importers of chemicals responsible for the safe handling of their substances. This agreement also applies to downstream users.
Our devices are continuously tested and the information updated in the context of the semi-annual updates of the REACH candidate list (SVHC). If substances listed in the current REACH regulation as "SVHC - Substances of Very High Concern" should exceed the permissible limit values in our products, we will inform our customers immediately in accordance with Article 33 of the EU Chemicals Regulation 1907/2006.
Upon sending a request to materialcompliance@jumo.net, we will gladly confirm that certain devices comply with the currently valid REACH regulation.
Conflict minerals
As a supplier to various U.S. companies, we are required to comply with all relevant legal requirements and regulations. Under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges must disclose the origin of "conflict minerals" such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, and their ores from areas in and around the Democratic Republic of Congo/Africa. Upon sending a request to materialcompliance@jumo.net we will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information.
