We offer one‑day internships in all our departments – giving you the chance to experience firsthand how diverse and exciting our work is for a full day, and to find out which profession suits you best.
School Internship
You can complete a school internship in any of our training professions. You will get to know careers in the fields of electronics, information technology, glass and metal technology, as well as commercial occupations, and gain your first practical experience.
FOS Internship

JUMO supports you as a practical partner on your way to obtaining your advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur). You can complete your one‑year internship in the following fields:

  • Electrical engineering
  • Information technology
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Business and administration

General structure

  • Duration: 1 year

  • Start: August 1

  • Weekly schedule: 3 days of practical training in the company, 2 days at school

  • Partner schools:

    • Konrad‑Zuse‑Schule (Hünfeld)
    • Richard‑Müller‑Schule (Fulda)

Your Profile

Educational background: Good to very good secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss)

Interests & skills:

  • Technical or commercial interest
  • Enjoy working with numbers and/or technology
  • Good computer skills

Personal qualities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Teamwork skills
  • Commitment and reliability
  • Organizational and communication skills (especially for IT and business areas)

Practical Experience During Your Studies

At JUMO, exciting tasks and projects await you in various departments. You can tackle these within an internship or use them as a basis for your bachelor’s or master’s thesis. You also have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience as a working student.
