How can the impact of vibrations on precise pressure measurement in refrigeration systems be reduced? Our solution
To meet the customer's requirements, we proposed a solution based on the JUMO MIDAS H20 HP pressure transmitter, which has been specially adapted to work in the harsh conditions of laboratory equipment refrigeration systems. This compact device is characterized by high resistance to pressure surges, extreme temperatures and vibrations, which makes it an ideal choice for applications requiring reliability and precision.
The key element of the sensor's customization was the use of a copper extension tube, which served several important functions. Firstly, it provided thermal insulation, protecting the sensitive elements of the transducer from the direct effects of high and low temperatures, which increased the durability and stability of the readings. Secondly, the tube acted as a pressure pulsation damper, reducing the impact of sudden spikes and fluctuations that could interfere with the accuracy of the measurements. In addition, this design reduced the impact of vibrations, which was particularly important in refrigeration systems with intensively operating compressors.
In addition to the standard features of the JUMO MIDAS H20 HP, the transmitter was customized to meet the specific requirements of the customer. We adjusted the pressure measuring ranges, selected the appropriate types of connectors, and optimized the design for installation in the limited space of laboratory equipment. As a result, the sensor fits perfectly into the architecture of the customer's refrigeration system, ensuring ease of integration and full compatibility with existing components.
This approach allowed us to provide a solution that is not only technically advanced, but also fully customized to the client's needs, which translated into greater reliability and efficiency of the entire system.
