How to ensure accurate temperature measurement on rolling lines? The customer's problem
The company for which we carried out this project specializes in the production of steel products for various industries - from construction, to automotive, to power generation. One of the key stages of the technological process is high-temperature rolling of steel, which requires continuous and accurate monitoring of thermal parameters.
The plant operates several parallel rolling lines, each equipped with a separate heating furnace. The customer needed a solution that would enable:

stable and fast temperature measurement with an accuracy of 0.5°C,

system responsiveness of less than 5 seconds,

the independence of each measurement line,

no need to run cables,
-
high resistance of the devices to moisture, oil and harsh environmental conditions,
-
and the ability to send data to the cloud in real time.
Previously used cable solutions did not meet these requirements. The customer was looking for a solution that would not only ensure reliability, but also reduce service costs and increase the safety of the entire process.
