This video series provides a guide to commissioning variTRON systems. It demonstrates how to work with the systems and the associated software in general. Throughout the videos, a small sample project is created using a JUMO variTRON 500 (system version 8).
The last two videos are not part of the video series. They demonstrate the special features of variTRON systems starting with system version 9 and how JUMO wireless sensors are connected to the JUMO variTRON 300.

Setting up a variTRON CPU generally begins with the JUMO smartWARE Setup variTRON - this is the configuration program. This video introduces the configuration software and demonstrates how to add continuous control to the setup. It also shows how to operate a control channel in the visualization.

The JUMO Web Cockpit is a web application available in every variTRON system. It offers comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, allows users to intervene in the control system, and enables configuration adjustments. This video presents the most important features and applications.

Without any additional programming, process images are available via a browser; however, these do not yet contain any objects. This video demonstrates how to fill a process image with content. So it shows how to use web visualization in CODESYS.
