What You'll Do

• Prepare and organize freight shipments for pickup and delivery
• Package, label, and stage shipments according to carrier and customer requirements
• Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers, drivers, and internal teams
• Complete and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading and freight manifests
• Ensure shipments meet company procedures and transportation regulations
• Track outgoing shipments and communicate status updates
• Inspect freight for accuracy, damage, and proper packaging
• Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment and safe procedures
• Maintain inventory records and shipping logs
• Assist with receiving incoming freight and verifying deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area

What We're Looking For

• Experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, or freight coordination preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with shipping software and transportation documentation is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Forklift certification is beneficial but not required
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse and shipping environment

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Part-Time Position
• Schedule determined with selected candidate
• Company operating hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM
• Pay Range: $20.75-$23.00 per hour
