To create optimal temperature, light and water conditions for the Dutch Yellowtail, the rearing tanks are tailored to the individual life phases of the fish. During the growth process, all tanks are automatically controlled and monitored as much as possible and the fish are supplied with the right amount of food by a sophisticated feeding system. In order to measure the level of the individual tanks safely and continuously, the plant will be equipped with more reliable level probes.
Hydrostatic level measurement is perfectly fulfilled by the JUMO MAERA S29 SW level probe, which is suitable for use in salt water. The probe is vibration-resistant and insensitive to foam formation due to the flush diaphragm. The level sensor itself has a standardized analog output signal, is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect connections during commissioning, and is certified according to ATEX. The design of the measuring system can be optionally optimized with accessories such as cable holders, screw plugs or pressure compensation filters for cables.
Due to the corrosion-resistant titanium design, the level probe can also be used in chloride-containing liquids and realizes filling heights from 1 to 100 mWS in aerated tanks. In addition to aquaculture, application examples include shipbuilding, swimming pools and wastewater disposal.
