In your third year of training, you have the opportunity to spend several weeks working at one of our subsidiaries abroad. JUMO will cover all travel costs and you will receive pocket money. In this way, you not only gain new professional experience, but can also discover new travel destinations and improve your language skills.
Every year there is a trainee excursion where all third-year trainees spend a day together. In 2022, the trainees went on a canoe trip on the Fulda. They paddled from Kämmerzell to Üllershausen in beautiful weather. A joint BBQ with a relaxed get-together then ended the day.
The first weeks of training at JUMO include various events to give the new apprentices an easy start to their working lives. At the trainee onboarding, all trainees meet to get to know each other and make friends. At the last onboarding, there was a city rally called "Operation Mindfall", where the trainees tried to stop a secret organisation. Afterwards, they had a barbecue together at the Waldheim Niesig.
